The XYCOM XVME-653 is a single-slot VMEbus processor module that was released in 1999 by Xycom Automation. It was a powerful computer board for its time, featuring:

• 233 MHz Pentium processor with MMX technology: This was a high-end processor for the era, capable of running demanding applications. MMX technology was an instruction set designed to improve multimedia performance.
• Up to 256 MB of RAM: This was a significant amount of memory for a late 1990s computer.
