November 10, 2023 – ABB Robotics and Porsche Management Consulting have announced a pilot partnership to develop innovative applications for automation in modular home manufacturing, further advancing automation in the construction industry.

The partnership will combine ABB’s leading robotics solutions with Porsche Management Consulting’s expertise in planning and operating modern factories to develop the following automation applications:

Automated manufacturing of modular housing components
Automated transportation and assembly of modular housing components
Automated inspection and maintenance of modular housing components
