The GE IS200VVIBH1C is a vibration monitor board designed for use with the GE Mark VI turbine control system.
Function:
- Processes vibration signals from up to 14 probes connected to terminal boards.
- Monitors factors like differential expansion, rotor eccentricity, vibration, and rotor axial position.
Compatibility:
- Works with the GE Mark VI, a steam and gas turbine management system from the Speedtronic line.
- Compatible with various vibration probes including Bently Nevada Proximitor, Seismic, Accelerometer, and Velomiter types.
Technical details:
- Connects to the Mark VI system through the VME bus.
- Digitizes analog vibration signals from the probes using an analog-to-digital converter (ADC).
- Provides power to the vibration probes in simplex or Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) mode for fault tolerance.
- Samples probe inputs at high speeds (up to 4600 samples/second).
- Processes the data to calculate vibration levels and other parameters.
