The B&W SQ-300I 8700700-006C is a hybrid automatic voltage control (AVC) system designed for electrostatic precipitators (ESPs). It is the latest addition to Babcock & Wilcox’s proven SQ-300 product line.

The SQ-300i Hybrid AVC is an integral component of the ESP control system and helps to ensure that the ESP operates efficiently and effectively. It does this by automatically adjusting the voltage applied to the ESP’s collecting electrodes. This helps to maintain the optimum level of electrical force between the electrodes, which is necessary to capture airborne pollutants from the flue gas.
