The B&R ECE161-0 is a digital input module.

The input channels are divided into two isolated groups of eight channels with a voltage supervision input for each group. Each input channel provides current limiting, EMC protection, input state LED indicator and optical isolation from the ModuleBus.

• Reading the state of pushbuttons and limit switches
• Monitoring the status of machine components
• Detecting the presence of objects on a conveyor belt
• Counting parts
