The ABB DAO01 is an analog output module that was part of ABB’s Freelance 2000 system, an industrial control system.

Freelance 2000 is an older system and may not be in common use any more, but the DAO01 can still be found from some surplus parts suppliers.

• Provides an analog output signal based on a digital input
• Can output a variety of signals, including voltage (0-10V or +-10V) or current (4-20mA)
• Was designed for use with the Freelance 2000 system
