This operator terminal is compact yet highly configurable and scalable to meet specific control needs. It remains a cost-effective visualization component.

The 2711P-B6C20D is a PanelView Plus 6 600 operator terminal is typically called as Human Machine Interface (HMI) by most personnel. This HMI mainly features a Color active-matrix Thin Film Transistor (TFT) with screen size of 5.7 inches, effective viewing area of 115 x 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 in.) and resolution of 320 x 240, 18-bit color graphics. The screen has a rated brightness of 440 cd/m2 (Nits) with a non-replaceable backlight having an operational lifespan of 25,000 hours min at 25 °C (77 °F).

The 2711P-B6C20D also comes with a dual operator input interface. It has a keypad assembly and touch sensitive cells which enables operational flexibility. The Keypad is composed of Numeric, navigation, and fully-programmable function keys. The keypad is made of Stainless-steel membrane with actuation life of 1 million presses and recommended actuation force of 340 g. The touchscreen interface is made of an analog resistive, 4-wire touchscreen with the same actuation lifespan of up to 1 million presses and operating force of 10-110 g.

This operator terminal has One (1) RS232 communication interface that supports DF1 and other point-to-point protocols, Two (2) USB ports for connection of external peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, removal storage and One (1) Ethernet communication port that supports Ethernet I/P and Common Industrial Protocol (CIP).

The 2711P-B6C20D has a touchscreen and keypad input interfaces. It has Ten (10) function keys, and touch sensitive cells integrated with the 5.7- in display, which has a display area of 111mm x 84mm (4.37in x 3.3in) display dimension. The HMI has a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) active matrix with thin-film transistor (TFT) and a resolution of 320 x 240 in 18-bit color graphics.

This HMI has One (1) RS-232 port, One (1) Ethernet port, and Two (2) USB ports. This allows the user to connect peripheral devices like mice, printers, and even PCs. It has a power rating of 25 Watts (max.) and an input DC voltage of 24V nominal. It has a weight of 0.93Kg (2.05 lb), and a total dimension of 167mm x 266mm x 98mm (6.58in x 10.47in x 3.86in). It is C-UL certified and has a NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X, IP54, IP65-rated enclosure which allows it to function normally even at an altitude of 2000m (6561 ft). The enclosure also allows for a maximum operational shock of 15G, in a 0-55 °C (32-131 °F) operating temperature.
