·The 1784-SD1 card is an Allen-Bradley SD card. The SD card supports the FAT-16 file system and it is used to create a backup that can be accessed later in case of power failure.

The 1784-SD1 card is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1 GB secure digital (SD) card. The ControlLogix secure digital card is made for the Allen-Bradley 5570 processor and it features a high level of performance. This ensures minimal development time and costs when it comes to commissioning and normal operation. The 1784-SD1 card has the ability to perform the standard and safety controls in the same chassis for a truly integrated system. It enables the users the ability to leverage a high level of availability and extreme environment capabilities that meet the application requirements. The 1784-SD1 card is an accessory component type with the module-specific functionalities of a 1784 memory card. The maximum ambient operating temperature is rated at 70 degrees Celsius, while the minimum operating temperature is -25 degrees Celsius.

For storage, the 1784-SD1 card should be stored in an environment with a maximum temperature of 85 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of -40 degrees Celsius. The recommended maximum ambient relative humidity is 95%, non-condensing. The unit features a maximum vibration acceleration rating of 2 G, while the vibration frequency at operation should not exceed 500 Hertz.
